Trader Joe's Shoppers Are Raving About Its Returning Sandwich Cookies

Trader Joe's can be dangerous for anyone with a sweet tooth. There are tons of delicious desserts and sweet snacks lining the shelves, whether you're a chocolate candy person or more of a cookie lover. There are the Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups that Redditors can't get enough of. There are the frozen Gone Bananas, which are banana slices coated in thick chocolate. Most recently, there's Springle Jangle (as spotted by @traderjoes_addict on Instagram), which is a seasonal play on the brand's cult-favorite Jingle Jangle at Christmas.

The packaged snack section at Trader Joe's just got a new, much-anticipated addition. An Instagram post from Trader Joe's fan account @traderjoeslist revealed that These Sprinkles Walk Into a Sandwich Cookies are back at the retailer and fans cannot wait to scoop up a few packs for themselves. Each package contains six jumbo sandwich cookies and costs $2.99. Shoppers were eager to get a package of the treat and showed their excitement in the comments section.

The cookies were a hit when they first came out in 2020

According to the package in the photo posted on Instagram, These Sprinkles Walk Into a Sandwich Cookies are butter cookies sandwiched with buttercream frosting and sprinkles galore. Many people in the comments section are excited to try the sandwich cookies, which actually first came to Trader Joe's in 2020. At that time, popular snack blogger Junk Banter gave the cookies rave reviews, comparing the cookie itself to a combination of Danish butter cookies and Pecan Sandies.

What's Good at Trader Joe's added that the cookies are fine, but it's the icing that's the real star of the show. They describe it as having an authentic dairy flavor, which is tough to find in a packaged cookie. One note of caution: They say that the cookies are very rich thanks to the super sweet icing and hefty cookies.

Commenters on the Instagram post expressed their love for the cookies as well. "These are amazing. Our store had one left and thank goodness my husband saw it and snatched it up," one user wrote. "Just tried these, and I hate how much I love them!!!!" another said.
