The Discontinued Refresher Flavor Dunkin' Fans Miss Most

Although Dunkin' coffee drinks and donuts may be the most well-known items the chain offers, Dunkin' does actually serve quite a bit more. In fact, the Dunkin' menu includes wraps, muffins, sandwiches, bagels, donuts, coffee, tea, and even frozen drinks. Of all the drinks, however, refreshers might just be the most popular.

The Dunkin' Refresher is a mix of green tea and sweetened concentrate, making the drink very sugary. According to Coffee at Three, the drinks have come in a few flavors over the years, including Strawberry Dragonfruit, Peach Passion Fruit, Purple Pomegranate, and Apple Cranberry.

Unfortunately for fans of the Dunkin' Refreshers, the chain only keeps the Strawberry Dragonfruit and Peach Passion Fruit drinks on the menu. All other Refreshers come and go, leaving heartbreak in their wake. Several grief-stricken fans recently took to Reddit to share fond memories of discontinued Refresher flavors — and to throw a little shade at Dunkin' in the process.

Reddit wants Dunkin' to bring back the Blueberry Pomegranate Refresher

One unhappy Redditor recently asked when Dunkin' would return the Blueberry Pomegranate Refresher to the menu. This particular Refresher graced the menu in the early months of 2021, containing green tea, fruit concentrate, and vitamin B (via Thrillist).

According to this Reddit user, the Blueberry Pomegranate Refresher "was the best refresher [Dunkin'] had and better than the ones they've come out with since discontinuing it. I want it back." A few other commenters agreed, though they weren't optimistic about the drink's return.

Another Redditor said they wanted the Apple Cranberry Refresher to come back for the fall of 2022, calling it "the best flavor by far." Others said Dunkin' would be selling a Blood Orange Refresher this fall instead (and if you're wondering about the difference between blood oranges and navel oranges, it pretty much just comes down to small differences in color, flavor, and growing season). If you too are yearning for the return of Dunkin's Blueberry Pomegranate Refresher, you're not alone, but your wait unfortunately continues.
