Chick-Fil-A Employee Reveals Secret Menu Items You Need To Try

If you're a fan of Chick-fil-A (and let's be real, who isn't?!) then you probably already know they have a pretty extensive list of secret menu items for in-the-know fans. But a recent Reddit AMA with user AHerdofGoats, who claims to be a Chick-fil-A cook, revealed two new secret menu items you're going to want to try.

If you're a fan of the crispy coating on CFA's chicken, then a double-breaded chicken sandwich is probably right up your alley. According to the poster, asking for your chicken to be double-breaded is exactly what it sounds like — the cook dips it in milk wash, coats it in breading, then returns the chicken for a second milk wash and even more glorious breading. The resulting sandwich has a thicker, crunchier coating guaranteed to make every other chicken sandwich you've ever had seem sad in comparison. AHerdofGoats did add that the final product after an extra dip is a super thick patty, so it may not be ideal for customers with tiny appetites. And while it may sound like this request would be a giant pain for whoever's tasked with making your meal, this cook says it's not — but it's not your best move if your visit is during the middle of a lunch rush.

"Not too much of a hassle except for the fact that they have to take time away from making food for other customers to hand make your order," they added.

The second revelation from this tell-all AMA is that virtually any sandwich on the CFA menu can be made into a double-decker, which is exciting news for hungry chicken fans everywhere. Apparently, some well-connected CFA customers have been ordering their sandwiches this way for quite some time, since the double-decker has made a few rare appearances on Instagram. But thanks to AHeardofGoats, we now know it can happen at pretty much and Chick-fil-A, and more importantly, with just about any sandwich.

Now that the truth has been revealed, which secret sandwich will you order first... or do you think you can handle a double-breaded double decker? That sounds like a secret menu item only the bravest (and hungriest) Chick-fil-A fans should attempt.
