The single most popular item in Costco's bakery is the six-packs of colossal Kirkland Signature Muffins. Unfortunately, they have a seriously elevated calorie count.
The Double Chocolate has a whopping 690 calories, with 79 grams of carbohydrates, 38 grams of fat, and 48 grams of sugar a pop, and the Pumpkin Streusel doesn't fare much better.
The Kirkland Signature Plain Cheesecake is generally hailed as utterly delicious by consumers, with some calling it one of the best they have ever eaten.
Sadly, the nutrition stats tell a different story. Each fluffy white triangle slice brings 19 grams of saturated fat, about 30% more than the daily limit.
At 500 calories, a whopping 59 grams of total carbohydrates, 36 grams of sugar, and 27 grams of fat (11 saturated), it leaves much to be desired in the health department.
