A GBBO Season 10 Contestant Just Threw Major Shade At Noel Fielding
By DAVE MALYON
Cracking jokes and eating cake might sound like the perfect job, but for Noel Fielding of the “Great British Bake Off,” the job description now includes taking shade from contestants. For many watchers, Noel may be one of the most charming parts of the show, but one Season 10 contestant recently revealed their true feelings toward the host.
According to Dan Chambers, a “Great British Bake Off” (GBBO) Season 10 contestant, many of the jokes Noel Fielding made weren’t suitable for the camera. Chambers explained, “A lot of the things that [Fielding] would say didn’t make it in because he would just say anything he wanted to and it might not have been quite appropriate.”
Chambers, who was the first contestant to drop out of the show, found Fielding entertaining, but ultimately thought Fielding and former host Sandi Toksvig were distracting while he was competing. Other contestants were more complimentary, with Season 11 contestant Laura Adlington saying of Fielding, “He’s so funny, he’s like a big kid really.”
