Aldi's Pork Schnitzel Merits The Air Fryer Treatment
by LAUREN WATERS
Pork schnitzel has arrived at U.S. Aldi locations as a part of the chain's biannual German Week. It's healthy, quick, and easy to prepare — especially if you have an air fryer.
A package of Deutsche Küche Pork Schnitzel comes with six pieces of pork loin and costs around $9. They are covered in a crispy breading made from saltine crackers.
To ensure the air fryer doesn't dry the pork out, spray olive oil on both sides of each piece you plan on making. Then, preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit.
Once heated, add your schnitzel and cook for 10-12 minutes. Next, flip each piece of schnitzel over and continue cooking until they are browned and ready to eat.
