Blake Lively’s Genius Pumpkin Cake Hack Is Everything

October is National Pumpkin Month, and grocery stores aren’t the only ones rolling out the pumpkin-themed baked goods. Home cooks are also making tons of fall treats, including actor Blake Lively, whose Instagram post about her pumpkin cake recipe left her followers in awe.
By baking the cake in a bundt pan, Lively was able to make her dessert look like a pumpkin. She also included some tips in her Instagram caption: “Family butter pound cake. I just browned the butter [...] Added a splash of bourbon and a half a pack of [Healthy Gourmet Kitchen] pumpkin cheesecake mix.”
