Chick-fil-A is bringing back a discontinued fan-favorite sandwich that will add some extra warmth to the 2022 fall season. The sandwich — which was initially released in select locations a few years back and then offered nationwide in 2021 — became so popular that it inspired a Change.org petition as well as several other protests against its discontinuation.

The Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich is coming back to the menu for a limited time starting September 12. Returning with the spicy marinade used in the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, the sandwich will be available at all Chick-fil-A locations across the U.S. while supplies last and will boast a limited-time cilantro lime sauce, Colby-Jack cheese, and a multigrain brioche bun.

Redditors have also praised the sandwich, with one person calling it "easily the best sandwich on the menu" and another saying it "was legit spicy. Not the casual American spicy, it brought the real heat." Chick-fil-A is also looking to spice up fall in a sweeter way with its brand-new Autumn Spice milkshake that comes with vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
