Costco Shoppers Are Raving Over A Particular Ice Cream Treat
By REE WINTER
While fall may be just around the corner, summer’s not quite over, so don’t trade in your ice cream cones for pumpkin spice lattes just yet. Costco has just released a nostalgic summer treat that has shoppers reliving their youths.
Costco now carries bulk packs of The Original Chipwich, which is made with real vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two chunky chocolate chip cookies and then rolled in more chocolate chips. Kids of the ’80s and ‘90s might recognize the ice cream sandwich which was featured in many ice cream trucks.
The Chipwich was invented in 1978 and quickly gained popularity; unfortunately, it was later discontinued, only to reappear on the market in 2018. You can find the Chipwich sold in other stores, but at $11.99, Costco’s 10-pack box has customers raving about a great deal.
