Easy Chicken Pot Stickers

Ingredients:
- 11 ounces minced chicken
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons leek, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon Shaoxing wine
- 1 egg, separated
- 20 round wonton wrappers
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- ¼ cup water

25 mins prep time, 10 minutes cooking
1. Mix the minced chicken, green onion, leek, salt, pepper, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, Shaoxing wine, and egg white in a large bowl until they are combined.

2. Put a small spoonful of chicken mixture in the middle of a wonton wrapper.


3. Brush the outside rim of the wrapper with egg yolk after dipping a finger dip into the yolk.

4. Fold the wrapper to make a half-moon shape and press out any air. Repeat with other wonton wrappers.
5. Heat the vegetable oil in a lidded non-stick skillet. Fry dumplings on medium heat till golden and crispy on the base (approx. 40 seconds).

6. Pour ¼ to ½ cups of water into the pan and cover to cook the pot stickers for 3 minutes, till thoroughly cooked. Serve with your preferred dipping sauce.
