Easy Mini Sausage Roll Recipe

Ingredients:
- 11-oz pack of ready-rolled puff pastry
- 6 thick, good-quality pork sausages
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon mixed herbs
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Servings:
- 20 rolls

Total Time:
- 10 minutes, 20 minutes cook
1. Preheat the oven to 300 F.

2. Slice the pastry in half lengthways.

3. Remove the skins from the sausages.

4. Lightly brush the middle of each pastry strip with some Dijon mustard.
5. Line up half of the sausages along the middle of a pastry strip, and stretch the meat to cover the entire length.

6. Repeat with the other length of pastry.

7. Sprinkle some mixed herbs over the sausage meat.
8. Brush the top length of both pastry strips with egg wash and roll the sausage rolls from the bottom.

9. Turn the sausage rolls over and seal the seams with a fork.

10. Brush the tops with egg wash and cut each sausage roll length into mini rolls.
11. Place the sausage rolls on the baking tray.

12. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes till golden brown.

13. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve warm or cold.
