Fast Food Value Menus Ranked From Worst To Best
By KOREY DENTON
14. Arby's
While Arby’s previous 2-for-$4 value menu included tasty, albeit smaller, sandwiches like the beef and cheddar, their 2023 2-for-$7 value menu only includes the Crispy Fish Sandwich, Spicy Roast Beef, and Classic French Dip sandwiches. For that price, we expect more than those limited options.
13. McDonald's
McDonald’s $1 $2 $3 menu, previously called the dollar menu, offers a Sausage Biscuit, Sausage McMuffin, Sausage Burrito, Hash Browns, McDouble, McChicken, Chicken Nuggets, French Fries, and soft drinks. The options are all pretty basic and don’t offer a lot of bang for your buck.
12. KFC
KFC doesn't have a dedicated value menu, but you can get two chicken wraps for $5, the Chicken Little sandwich for less than $3, and all the sides for less than $3 each. While the KFC menu is more filling than other value menus, it lacks variety and isn’t very cheap.
11. Little Caesars
To keep up with the increasing cost of ingredients, most Little Caesars locations are now charging $5.55 for the Hot-N-Ready $5 Pizza. The price increase reportedly means there is 33% more pepperoni on each pizza, but the chain’s “value menu” is still limited, as its only cost-saving item is this pizza.
10. Whataburger
Whataburger’s cheaper menu items include a Whataburger Jr. with Bacon and Cheese for $4.79, a double-meat Whataburger Jr. for only $3.99, an egg sandwich for $2.49, hash brown sticks for $1.89, and cinnamon rolls for $2.59. Its value menu isn't all that cheap, but there are some great deals.
