One of the Italian dishes many people can’t get enough of is chicken parmesan, and while it tastes delicious, it's heavy with calories. However, celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis has developed her own "skinny" take on the dish that has attracted the attention of social media.
In the TikTok post, De Laurentiis whips up a marinade in which she coats her chicken before it hits a hot pan. She then tops the fried chicken with some marinara sauce and cheese before placing it under the broiler.
However, the recipe eschews any kind of deep frying or added bread crumbs. Many TikTok users loved the healthier recipe, and it inspired some to try it out themselves.
