How Fans Can Tell When Guy Fieri Doesn't Like The Food
He's Eating
By BOSHIKA GUPTA
Chef Guy Fieri is a well-known TV personality, thanks to his work on shows like “Next Food Network Star,” “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” and “Guy's Grocery Games,” among others. His fans have become so well-acquainted with his on-screen persona that they even know how to spot when he dislikes something he’s eating.
When Guy Fieri doesn’t like what he ate, instead of mentioning the issues with the dish on TV, he starts naming the ingredients — something he usually doesn’t do on-screen. According to a Redditor, it’s quite easy to understand when Fieri isn’t impressed, because “When Guy doesn't like things, he gives the most generic descriptions possible.”
If Fieri is exposed to really bad food, it simply isn’t shown on TV. A Redditor wrote that the chef mentioned on the Sporkful podcast that if the food is terrible, it doesn’t make the cut, although he is glad to advise the chefs on how to improve their dishes when the team goes into a commercial break.
