Hugh Jackman's Go-To Recipe When He Wants To Impress A Guest
By REBECCA CHERICO
Hugh Jackman, it seems, knows how to impress people off-screen as well as on it. The actor — who is a self-professed foodie and loves to make lasagna from scratch — likes to impress his guests with a recipe that neither involves meat nor any ingredients native to his Australian homeland.
When Jackman has guests over, Crêpes Suzette is his go-to when he wants to show off his culinary chops. Crêpes Suzette is a type of dessert crêpe, flavored with orange and orange liqueur, finished off with Grand Marnier and Cognac, and the alcohol then set ablaze.
While it's not what we might have expected from the actor, it does make sense — a little bit sweet, a little bit sophisticated. It would seem that the recipe has just the right amount of showmanship — and quite appropriately enough — from the World's Greatest Showman.
