Ina Garten's Game-Changing Method For Crispy Baked Potato Skin
By ADRIANNA MACPHERSON
One of the most classic ways to prepare potatoes is the simple yet satisfying baked potato, but getting that crispy exterior can be a challenge. Ina Garten has an easy method that you can follow, using just the ingredients you already have, for making baked potatoes with perfectly crisp skin.
Garten adds lemon zest, coarse salt, and fresh herbs to a food processor until they're combined, but not yet in a paste-like consistency. She evenly coats the potato with olive oil, then rolls it in the mixture to create a delicious crust, and tops the finished baked potato with some whipped feta.
Several people who tried Garten’s method gave it favorable reviews on the Food Network recipe, with one writing, "this is the best baked potato recipe ever! The potato is cooked perfectly and the skin is so crispy, flavorful and delicious. I will never make my baked potatoes any other way."
