People can’t seem to get enough of Crumbl Cookies, the cookie chain that features both classic flavors and limited-time weekly varieties. The company’s latest treats feature characters from the movie “Minions: The Rise of Gru,” and while new releases usually have Crumbl fans running to get a bite, these cookies are simply making them confused.

Crumbl created two "Minions"-themed cookies in anticipation of the film's DVD release, but one Instagram user commented, "You’re a little late to the club. You should have put this out around July 1st but cute concept." Perhaps it would have made more sense for Crumbl to sell the cookies while "Rise of Gru" was still in theaters.

Some fans also think that the cookies' flavors — "Dirt Cake" with a "Minions"-themed topper and a "Confetti" cookie with yellow sprinkles — are underwhelming. However, many other customers left excited comments on Crumbl's Instagram, if only because they're hyped about the new mooncake cookie and banana cream pie cookie.
