Is McDonald's

Buckets?
By CHASE SHUSTACK

Around Halloween in the 1980s and '90s, kids who ordered a Happy Meal at McDonald's would receive their food in a plastic pail decorated as a ghost, goblin, witch, or pumpkin, which they could later use to hold their Halloween candy. Now, it seems that these buckets might be coming back for the 2022 season.

Rumors are spreading that these beloved buckets are making a comeback, fueled by a "leak" from within the company. The Nightmare Nostalgia blog claims that a photo of Mcdonald’s corporate events calendar suggests that Halloween pails may be making a return on October 4th.

Food blogger @markie_devo, who often posts accurate restaurant news, posted what seems to be a promotion for Halloween Happy Meals making a nationwide return on October 18th. Whether these claims hold any water or not is yet to be seen.
