Krispy Kreme’s New Halloween Collection Might Make You ‘Skreme’ With Excitement
By REE WINTER
Krispy Kreme has released a selection of donuts for the spooky season — or “Krispy Skreme,” as the chain calls it. Although most fans are excited, some fans have called the store’s seasonal donuts “sloppy and unrecognizable” compared to the promotional pictures, and will be able to judge the donuts themselves until the end of October.
The new Haunted House collection of Halloween donuts features four new flavors — including two filled donuts. There’s the cream-filled chocolate Scaredy Cat, cake-batter filled Boo Batter, the Spooky Spider topped with chocolate and crushed cookies, and the Original Glazed with orange icing and festive sprinkles.
Along with the spooky-cute donuts, Krispy Kreme is also offering some scary-good deals throughout the month. On October 15, 22, and 29, customers who buy any dozen donuts can pick up a dozen Original Glazed for $2, and if you visit the donut shop dressed in costume on Halloween you can get your choice of donut for free.
