Minecraft Is Releasing A Dessert, And Yes, You Can Build With It
By MARIA SCINTO
Since hitting the scene in 2009, the online world-building game “Minecraft” has inspired a variety of merch, including clothing, posters, books, and Lego sets. You can also find “Minecraft”-themed food like cakes, cereal, and waffles — but now, for the first time, there is “Minecraft” ice cream.
Created by Swedish-owned healthy snack company N!ck’s, the new ice cream was released on September 27, 2022, and fans had to sign up to be notified about its launch. The ice cream can only be ordered online, but unfortunately, N!ck’s isn’t shipping to Alaska or Hawaii.
There are four flavors, all based on items in the game: Cake Blocka, Emerald Minta, Enchanted Apple Pie, and Peanot Choklad Glowdust. The keto-friendly ice cream costs $9.99 per pint and comes in block-shaped containers so fans can make their own “Minecraft” ice cream creations.
