For an easier way to peel hard-boiled eggs, gently tap the shell by the air sac on the wider end of the egg with the back of a spoon before you even boil them.
This tip comes from a viral TikTok by @aymlessleigh84, who taps the egg with a spoon until it makes a slightly different noise than usual, indicating the membrane has separated.
With the membrane separated from the shell within the egg, the peeling process will be much easier. While some users found the hack effective, others were skeptical.
