Pepsi-Cola Soda Shop Is Back With A New Limited-Edition Flavor
By CRYSTAL ANTONACE
Pepsi has experienced steady economic growth over the last two years, and the brand’s success may be due to its nostalgia-driven marketing. In 2021, the company debuted its Pepsi-Cola Soda Shop line with flavors such as Cream Soda and Black Cherry, and they have more planned for 2022.
During the initial launch of the Soda Shop line, Pepsi enlisted pop star Doja Cat to release a modern take on “You’re the One That I Want” from the classic movie “Grease,” and they have a similar plan in 2022. Zero Sugar Cream Soda Cola is the newest flavor and is being marketed by Chlöe Bailey’s take on the classic song “Footloose.”
The idea stemmed from the recent “Footloose” trend on TikTok, and the brand is encouraging fans to showcase their best dance moves on the platform from October 7 to 16, 2022. Participants should use the hashtags #PepsiSodaShop and #PepsiSweepstakes for the chance to win prizes signed by Bailey.
