Sonic Has A Fried New Dessert Item On The Way

Sonic, the largest drive-in restaurant in the U.S., serves roughly 3 million customers every day. The company has released many milkshake flavors over the years, but its newest dessert item crosses the boundaries of its usual frozen treats and steps into the fried delights category.
With the new fried dessert arriving in late September 2022, Sonic’s endless menu of milkshakes, malts, blasts, and other treats will undoubtedly receive a shake-up. Available for purchase from September 26, the Fried Cookie Dough Bites feature a warm chocolate chip cookie dough with a crispy-fried exterior to provide a crunchy bite on the outside and molten delight in the middle.
The dough bites also come with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side at $2.99. On September 21, Sonic offered everyone using its app a chance to access the new dessert before the official release date. The Fried Cookie Dough Bites will be available until November 27, 2022.
