Subway's All-American Club: What You Need To Know Before You Order
By FELIX BEHR
In July 2021, Subway introduced the All-American Club as a part of their Eat Fresh Refresh campaign. The new sub had oven-roasted turkey in deli-thin slices, Black Forest ham, hickory smoked bacon, American cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and red onions in Artisan Italian Bread.
Many reviewers, however, found the sub to be mediocre, with The Washington Post wondering why the brand was drumming up so much attention for a “super-basic club sandwich you could have ordered at a diner 40 years ago.” Johnny Clyde, on the other hand, gave it a 9.3 out of 10.
A six-inch All-American Club will cost you somewhere between $5.50 and $7, depending on your area. It contains 25 grams of protein, 350 calories, 13 grams of fat, 55 milligrams of cholesterol, and 1210 milligrams of sodium — almost a full day's worth of the recommended salt intake.
