The Affordable Wine Marcus Samuelsson Keeps Stocked On His Bar Cart
By SARAH MOHAMED
When chef, restaurateur, and TV personality Marcus Samuelsson signs off on a budget-friendly wine, fans are sure to stock up.
The “Top Chef” judge has a soft spot for Miami, and as he told the New York Post, one of the things he keeps stocked while visiting is a great bottle of wine.
Samuelsson loves wines from the McBride Sisters Wine Company. Created by half-sisters Andréa and Robin McBride in 2005, it is the biggest Black-owned wine company in the U.S.
The company offers a range of options, including the McBride Sisters Collection, SHE CAN canned wines, and the Black Girl Magic Wines, which are the most affordable.
The Black Girl Magic collection includes bottles of riesling, rosé, merlot, zinfandel, red blend, and a sparkling brut that range in price from $20 to $60.
Bottles are available for shipment directly from the company website, and they can also be purchased at popular sellers like Drizly, Trader Joe's, and Target.
