The Busiest Day Of The Year For Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Lattes

Fall’s range of sweet, savory, and aromatic foods is never complete without the boldness of pumpkin spice. This autumn flavor is found in everything, from baked goods and candies to hummus and yogurt, but one of the most notable pumpkin spice inventions is the Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks.
Starbucks’ iconic, limited-edition espresso drink was made available in 2003 and has been a popular choice during every fall season since. The global coffee chain serves up the most Pumpkin Spice Lattes on October 31 — which is actually a few months after the beverage’s annual release.
Serving the most PSLs on Halloween makes sense as the holiday is synonymous with lots of sugar and it marks the onset of the “holiday season.” Additionally, as the air starts to cool, comforting treats like PSLs become a necessity, especially in Washington — the “most pumpkin spice latte-obsessed state.”
