The Fast Food Restaurant Alton Brown Can't Stop Thinking About

While celebrity chef Alton Brown is known for loving fried chicken, the food icon is also partial to a good burger and a donut from Gibson’s in Memphis, according to Eater. Like many other famous cooks and chefs, Brown has his favorite fast-food guilty pleasures and has revealed he can’t get enough of a West Coast favorite.
Brown is a huge fan of In-N-Out’s single animal-style burger and chocolate shake, calling it “greasy but oddly clean-tasting at the same time and the sauce actually is ‘special.’” This combo reminds the celebrity chef of his childhood, who shared, “The shake tastes the way shakes tasted back when I was a kid. It makes me tear up just thinkin’ about it.”
Brown isn’t the only celebrity who’s a fan of the fast food establishment, as others like Gordon Ramsay have also shared their love for In-N-Out’s delicious food. In-N-Out wasn't just the clear winner for Brown and Gordon either, with the regional chain topping Esquire's list as the best fast-food spot according to the chefs they surveyed.
