The Guy's Grocery Games Scandal You Might Have Forgotten About

Guy's Grocery Games has had consistent and enduring popularity, but while the show attracts new fans, it has also experienced its share of controversy.
One scandal you might not remember involved contestant Chad Barrett of Detroit, who made his first appearance in Season 12 in an episode that aired in 2017.
However, even though he made an impression on the show and was invited back two years later, you won’t find the episodes he was featured on.
Food Network booted Barrett from the Food Network. It purged his episodes from the website after he was accused of domestic violence by his ex-wife and seven other women.
Barrett's ex-wife, Kari Barrett, leveled charges in 2019. When a friend posted a warning about Chad on social media, other women followed suit.
Barret was accused of a wide range of violent behaviors. He was convicted and obliged to serve jail time, probation, and community service.
