The Internet Is Bullying Gordon Ramsay Over His Restaurant’s Burgers
By MATT BYRNE
Gordon Ramsay of “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Kitchen Nightmares” is known for his acerbic personality and biting criticism towards lackluster food, but now the chef has found himself on the other end of the equation. After posting a video of a burger served at one of his restaurants, appalled fans have pelted Ramsay with plenty of roasting.
Ramsay's video shows a standard-looking burger with toppings like cheese, pickles, lettuce, onion, and tomato, but the internet was quick to point out that the toppings were out of order. Noting that the lettuce, tomato, and onion were beneath the patty, one Twitter user wrote, “TOPPINGS go on TOP of the burger, they aren’t BOTTOMINGS.”
Another critic disliked that Ramsay’s burger had both ketchup and tomato, commenting “Choose one form of tomato per burger, y’all,” while someone else scolded the chef for his presentation, saying “A Big Mac from McDonald’s looks nicer than that.” Some fans made supportive comments, but clearly, not even Ramsay is safe from ribbing.
