The Real Reason You Should Only Shop At
Aldi On Wednesdays
By COURTNEY GIARDINA
Once a week, Aldi introduces specialty items that fly off the counters, as people flock to the stores to take advantage of the lowest prices. Wednesday is the best day of the week to head to the stores, because that's when Aldi rolls out 40 to 50 of its newest items at the best prices.
These limited stock items are known as Aldi Finds, and the company sends only a limited number of these items. Aldi says these items are ordered months in advance, and there is no way to predict how popular an item will be.
The Aldi Finds section is stocked with various items ranging from your living room needs to car accessories and kitchen gadgets. Seasonal items like college dorm decor and lunchboxes for back-to-school are found with great discounts, and the holiday season in particular brings products with incredible prices.
You can also take advantage of the “produce picks of the week,” where you can find fruits like pineapples for as low as $1, while avocados can be sourced for just 69 cents each. Don’t forget to bring your own grocery bags, and you may want to call ahead, because in some rural locations, the new items roll out on Sunday instead of Wednesday.
