The Reason LongHorn Steakhouse's Steaks Taste So Delicious
By CHASE SHUSTACK
Opened in 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia, LongHorn Steakhouse is a cowboy-themed restaurant offering customers a Wild West experience in a casual dining atmosphere that includes serving up some supposedly delicious steaks. The chain has gotten rave reviews for their trademark steaks, which are made with a special ingredient.
On the subreddit r/IAmA, user u/heretical_yoshi opened a thread regarding their job at LongHorn Steakhouse, where one user asked a now-deleted question about the steaks. "LongHorn's has a trio of seasonings that we typically use that really embolden the flavor of pretty much everything we have on the menu," answered u/heretical_yoshi.
"I'm not sure what the make up of the seasonings are as they come pre-packaged off the truck, but most everything gets a healthy seasoning before hitting the grill,” he continued. Although the response wasn't very specific as to what sort of seasonings LongHorn uses, it seems that you can actually buy them from Amazon and Walmart.
