The Secret To Angela Lansbury's Favorite Tea

Angela Lansbury passed away on October 11, 2022, at 96 years old, with an impressive career that spanned over 80 years. Even at the ripe old age of 88, Lansbury went back to work on the London stage, but there was one thing that made her dislike her move from Ireland to the UK — her tea.
Lansbury spoke to The Independent about the major issue she had with not being able to find her preferred brand of tea outside of Coke, Ireland. For Lansbury, the stronger the cup the better, with Barry’s Tea brand the one she enjoyed the most, and requested it whenever she traveled outside of Ireland.
In 2014, her interview with The Irish Times was even interrupted for a tea errand, with the actress saying, “You can't get it in London. I'll have to get some Barry's, but I don't know where." Someone working behind the scenes offered to make a phone call to the tea shop, Barry's, and, "supplies were quickly despatched."
