It’s no secret that the late Anthony Bourdain was an acclaimed chef who was able to come up with genius recipe ideas. However, there is one particular sandwich that he viewed as one of his all-time best.
Bourdain revealed what the item was in his cookbook “Appetites,” and it is none other than his Macau-style pork chop sandwich. Bourdain said about the sandwich, “It’s possibly the most delicious thing in 'Appetites.'”
The Macau-style pork chop sandwich is a traditional pork chop sandwich paired with chili sauce. Additionally, it is topped with soy sauce, garlic cloves, and sesame oil, making for one mouth-wateringly delicious sandwich.
