The Way To Cook Ribeye Steak In A Pan For Sizzling Perfection
by LAUREN WATERS
Out of the many ways to prepare a perfect steak, the best method is to cook it in a pan. When preparing a ribeye steak in a pan, there are some important things to keep in mind.
First, be sure to use a cast iron skillet, which will ensure your ribeye stays extra juicy. Next, you'll need oil, butter, and plenty of your favorite spices.
Start by heating your oil, then add your steaks for a few minutes on each side. Then continue letting the steaks sear until it has almost reached your desired doneness.
Add butter and seasoning for a minute before taking the steaks off the heat to rest for 10 minutes. Your steaks should be out of the fridge 20 minutes before cooking them.
Accuracy with time and temperature is key. Use a meat thermometer to get to your desired temperature, and remove the steak when it's five to ten degrees away from that number.
