TikTok’s Suspicion About Olive Garden’s Iconic Deal Was So Right
By CHARLEY REKSTIS
TikTok suspected that Olive Garden would bring back a fan-favorite deal after the chain posted several videos to its TikTok account, including one of a series of pasta bowls with “something is coming” written on the screen. Most fans guessed the never-ending pasta bowl was returning, and the theory has finally been confirmed.
After a two-year hiatus, Olive Garden’s never-ending pasta bowls have returned in time for the 25th anniversary of the deal. This is definitely a surprise since, in 2021, the CEO of the chain’s parent company said he wasn't sure if the deal was ever coming back because of the "negative impact" it had on profits.
There has been a price increase from $10.99 to $13.99, with certain toppings costing an extra $4.99 — and some customers are already asking Olive Garden to bring back another deal: pasta passes. But on the whole, most fans are ecstatic not only for the return of the classic deal but for catching onto Olive Garden’s hints for the past few days.
