Trader Joe's New Chicken Offering Has Shoppers Excited
By BRIANNA CORLEY
Americans collectively eat about 8 billion chickens every year, and a new item at Trader Joe’s might just make that number go up. Trader Joe's List, an Instagram account dedicated to the latest finds at the grocery chain, recently revealed the addition of chicken meatballs to stores.
According to the item's packaging, the meatballs are gluten-free, pre-cooked, and pre-seasoned with notes of basil, oregano, garlic, and onion. They are made from antibiotic and hormone-free chicken, with four chicken meatballs packing 16 grams of protein — making it a great snack.
The new item has been in stores for less than a week, and it already seems to be gaining a lot of popularity among customers, per their comments on social media. One shopper said, "Can't wait to try these! Yay for paleo options!!!" while another wrote, "clean ingredients I'll have to try!"
