When days cool down with summer turning into fall, ice cream would probably be the last thing on your mind. However, Trader Joe’s new fall-worthy ice cream flavor might just make you put down that Pumpkin Spice latte and reach for a cone instead — and here's a hint: it’s not pumpkin flavored.
Trader Joe’s has released a seasonal Salted Maple ice cream, and people on Instagram are loving it. As one user praised it by saying, “It’s incredible. It’s heavenly. I want to marry it,” another exclaimed, “I need to make a TJ run for this ice cream!”
The ice cream features a vein of salty maple syrup that had Instagram user @traderjoeslist calling it “the best ice cream ever.” However, others weren’t too keen, as some complained about its sugar content and calorie count, while some advised adding toasted walnuts for a bit of crunch and bitterness to balance the sweet, maply taste.
