Wendy's Baked Potato: What To Know Before Ordering

Wendy’s was one of the first giant fast-food chains to introduce healthy options on their menu. In 1983, Wendy’s first introduced its famous baked potato to give patrons another healthy option, aside from their famous salad bar.

Rumor has it that Wendy’s will soon take this favorite off the menu. Although it is no longer available in Mexico, the baked potato is still available in other countries, including the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

There are several varieties of Wendy’s baked potato available. The average cost of a plain baked potato is $2.24 before tax, but store location and add-on toppings may increase the price.

A plain Wendy's potato without any trimmings contains 270 calories and 7 grams of protein and fiber. The other baked potato varieties range from 300-500 calories, in addition to all the carbohydrates, vitamins, potassium, and fat.
