While Burger King does have mozzarella sticks, it doesn't offer cheeseburgers topped off with deep-fried cheese tubes. However, BK lovers, such as YouTuber theendorsement, have discovered that Burger King Double Cheeseburgers are better when you add mozzarella sticks.

Of course, popularity trends to breed imitation. Wendy's now has a new, limited-time-only burger, called the Cheesenator, with a deep-fried mozzarella patty alongside two beef patties, bacon, and cheese sauce on a Kaiser bun, as well as the Chickenator, which replaces the beef patties with chicken patties, and the Baconator Mushroom Melt, which adds mushrooms.

Interestingly, these Cheesenators are exclusive to Wendy's locations in New Zealand. While we’ll see how the addition of a mozzarella patty, which is essentially a giant mozzarella stick, will pair with such a savory sandwich, it goes beyond Burger King's unofficial mozzarella stick sandwich.
