What Chick-Fil-A Employees Wish You Would Stop Doing When Ordering

Chick-fil-A has managed to achieve cult status with its tasty food and award-winning customer service, but its employees do wish things worked a little differently. Chick-fil-A employees recently took to Reddit to share the things they wish customers would stop doing when ordering.

One Redditor wrote that it’s hard to maintain a happy smile and enthusiasm when customers don’t pay attention while placing an order. For them, it's unbelievable that some customers can simply ignore their presence and refuse to make eye contact when stepping up to the counter.

Another common problem was with customers who whisper while ordering and then complain that their order isn’t right when they receive it. Chick-fil-A employees say they sometimes resort to tactics like reading lips and even telling customers they’re slightly deaf.

Chick-fil-A employees are praised in the food service industry for their speed, efficiency, and overly polite behavior. That said, it can be a little tough for the employees to keep smiling and stay calm when dealing with rude customers who are unwilling to be polite and respectful in return.
