What Happened To Slice Of Sauce After Shark Tank?
By GILLIAN KING
Slice of Sauce is basically what it sounds like — a slice of solidified condiment resembling and packed like American cheese, meant as a solution to the eternal problem of sauces dripping out of sandwiches and onto clothes. So, what happened to this no-mess topping from husband and wife team Cody and Emily Williams?
The duo appeared on “Shark Tank” in January 2021, but the show had been sending them invitations to apply since 2018 — despite Slice of Sauce not having sold a single unit. Even so, the couple was granted a deal from guest investor Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez for a $200,000 loan, but the deal was never completed.
There has been no sign of Slice of Sauce since then, with the company’s social media pages out-of-date or unavailable entirely. The Williamses admitted in an interview to shipping and manufacturing issues, as well as delays in building their brand — the product, it seems, never really got off the ground.
