Why Guy Fieri’s Eating Habits On Diners, Drive-Ins And Dives Are Not What They Seem
By TAYLOR HUANG
Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” has been immensely popular since it first aired in 2006, and features host Guy Fieri sampling America’s best “greasy spoon” eateries. While Fieri’s eating habits on the show may seem unhealthy, the reality of it is something else entirely.
Fieri recently told People that he’s been working with a nutritionist, and is learning to find a better balance than just eating the foods provided on the show. He also began working out at 6 a.m. and practicing intermittent fasting, which he says has increased his energy levels.
The Food Network star was motivated to make these changes for his family, stating that he wanted to see his kids grow up, and to not be “one of those guys that burns up through the tunnel.” He emphasized that balance was key, as he still enjoys “fun” meals and sampling the good food on “Triple D.”
