Why Reddit Is Calling Out Taco Bell's Nacho Cheese Cups
By SOPHIA LO

Recently, a Reddit user posted a photo of two cups full of Taco Bell nacho cheese where one was clearly larger than the other. The Redditor captioned it, “The sauce cups got smaller but still charge 75¢ for extra cheese,” and many other users have expressed similar concerns.

There may be a valid reason for this change, as the USDA predicted that food costs would increase due to the current inflation. While companies might hope customers won't notice the slight difference, many Redditors have indeed seen the cheese cup shift.

While many Taco Bell customers noticed the changes, the smaller cheese cups, however, might not be at every Taco Bell location. One person said that the cheese cups in their area did not change and that the tinier cups are due to “choices by individual franchise owners.”
