Why You Should Make Cookies In Your Air Fryer
By ABBY TARIQ
An air fryer uses super-fast air and heat circulation in a small space to bake cookies quicker than a conventional oven. Insider reported that an air fryer could help you have "fresh, homemade cookies in 10 minutes flat," since there is no need to preheat the system (excluding the time to defrost the dough).
The best part is that if the dough is already at room temperature, it will take around five minutes only. The Kitchn says that you can make a small batch of cookies that are "crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside" without turning on the oven.
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F and place cookie dough balls onto a foil-lined basket. Ensure the dough balls are two inches apart, and cook for about five to six minutes for crispy cookies.
