West Coast’s famous burger joint In-N-Out has been in business since the 1940s and has expanded its menu. It has what they call a "Not So Secret Menu" and countless options, but customers need to be careful when ordering a burger with "everything."
An In-N-Out employee on Reddit said that it "might confuse your order taker since we can't know if you are including onions, pickles, chiles, etc., or not." The standard toppings for an In-N-Out burger are spread, tomatoes, and lettuce, and the menu is so expansive that they could include countless toppings when it comes to "a burger with everything."
Rather than ordering a burger with “everything,” it is best practice to read the In-N-Out menu first and get an idea of what specific toppings to add. This will avoid confusion for the order taker and avoid frustration for the customer, too.
