Why You Should Never Order A Salad At Arby's
By ASHLEY STEINBERG
Almost every fast food chain offers some form of salad, even in its most basic form, and while Arby’s salad menu isn't quite as extensive, they do have the choice of either a Crispy or Roast Chicken Entree Salad. These both include chicken, crispy pepper bacon, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and ranch dressing, but you should take caution before ordering one.
An Arby's salad is sadly nothing more than a handful of lettuce with just a sprinkle of cheese, which is faux pas even for the most basic side salad. Chicken Salad Lover was particularly upset about the meat pieces in the chain's Crispy Chicken Farmhouse Salad, lamenting that they're “very tough and dry,” and calling the cheese slimy and weird-colored.
Eat This, Not That also ranks Arby's Chopped Farmhouse Salad with Crispy Chicken as one of the worst menu items at the chain, though their reasoning has more to do with health reasons than the taste. The chicken, cheese, and bacon have a bunch of calories to begin with, and pouring on the buttermilk ranch dressing only adds more.
