A Chick-Fil-A Customer Allegedly Found A Fried Feather In Their Sandwich

Whether or not we like it, Chick-fil-A is known for its controversies and its chicken. Well, probably mostly the chicken. Chick-fil-A's chicken sandwich consistently ranks high among fast food fried chicken sandwiches, in most lists only bested by Popeyes or Shake Shack.

However, those who have tried Chick-fil-A's chicken sandwich and given it a poor review have good reason to do so. For instance, one woman bit into her sandwich only to find a dead rat had been baked into the bun (via Insider). Sorry, but that's really gross. Another man allegedly found bird feces in his Chick-fil-A sandwich, and even though experts suggested it was actually just lettuce rot, that's still not anything we want to eat.

One disgruntled Reddit user recently shared their own Chick-fil-A horror story, and let's just say that this chicken sandwich discovery ruffled more than a few feathers. Yup, they found a fried feather in their sandwich.

Chick-fil-A might have a little bit of a chicken problem

As you might expect, Reddit was a bit grossed out after one Chick-fil-A customer shared a photo from the drive-thru. Oh, but not just a regular Chick-fil-A drive-thru. This particular drive-thru has a chicken standing in the middle of the lane, which led to the caption, "I once got a fried feather in my sandwich at this location. I now see why."

Naturally, other Reddit users were quick to make jokes. One person wrote, "That Chick-fil-A takes freshness seriously," to which someone else responded, "New job incoming, chicken wrangler." Another person simply stated, "Our chickens are free range."

Upon further prompting, the original poster explained their feather experience. When they took the sandwich back up to the counter, the employees told them, "wElL iT iS cHiCkEn," but did offer to replace it. Good thing Chick-fil-A employees are so friendly, right? Regardless, we can't blame this poor Redditor for being disgusted by their fried feather sandwich.
