How To Get $2 Dunkin' Lattes All December
We're kind of obsessed with getting discounted and free food from our favorite restaurants, and that includes getting discounted beverages like coffee. Dunkin' apparently understands our passion for low-cost caffeine, because they've just announced that they're offering $2 lattes, cappuccinos, and americanos all through December (via Delish).
The donut chain may be famous in New England for its iced coffee (via Boston), but it started selling espresso drinks in 2003, and now sell them in a variety of flavors (via Dunkin'). If you love your coffee drinks hot, you're in luck, but there are a few catches to getting your $2 Dunkin' beverage.
You can't get your $2 Dunkin' drinks any time of day
Dunkin's $2 espresso drinks are only available during a certain time of day, similar to Starbucks' Happy Hour program (via Starbucks).
You won't be able to get your espresso fix in the mornings, but you can go and get a $2 medium latte, cappuccino, or americano at Dunkin' every day in December from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (via Dunkin'). It's the perfect way to get a little caffeine jolt to see you through the end of your work day (especially the day after a late night holiday party). You won't be able to get any of the chain's flavored lattes or drinks using the promotion, though.
For those not in the know, a cappuccino is a shot of espresso topped with steamed milk and a thick layer of foamed milk, a latte is made with 2/3 steamed milk and 1/3 espresso topped with foamed milk, and an americano is made by combining espresso with water (via Dunkin').
