Here's How To Order A WAP Latte At Starbucks

If Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP" is your new favorite empowerment anthem, then you'll want to get in on the Starbucks' WAP latte action. Starbuck's WAP latte first appeared on a signboard at Center City Philadelphia's Starbucks last week, where it was quickly broadcast to the world by journalist "Flood the Drummer" on Twitter. It might not be Cardi B's preferred version of a WAP, but it consists of these admittedly tamer components: (W)hite mocha, (A)lmond milk, and (P)umpkin spice flavorings (via Billy Penn).

When local news outlet, Billy Penn, investigated the now-viral phenomenon, they reported that no one at the Starbucks in question "could identify which employee was responsible." Neither has Starbucks' corporate office responded to Billy Penn's inquiries as to employee "guidelines" for drawing signboard promotions. Still, we haven't heard them complaining (yet). Meanwhile, the invention has sparked online creatives to make a Starbucks version of Cardi-B's rap hit.

Here's how to order a Starbucks' WAP latte

If you can't get to Philadelphia, don't worry. You can order your own Starbuck's WAP latte at any Starbucks franchise that has almond milk and white mocha syrup in stock. You can even order it online. Here's what you'll need to do.

Starbucks' pumpkin spice latte base is your drawing board. Start with that. Then, instead of the standard, 2 percent milk a barista will use unless you specify, ask for almond milk. (Steamed, with foam, please.) A standard pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks has two shots of espresso. You're welcome to ask for more or less, according to your caffeine needs.

Next, you'll want to customize your flavors. In addition to the standard four pumps of pumpkin spice sauce, ask for four pumps of white chocolate mocha sauce (or you could ask them to split it half and half.) A standard pumpkin spice latte comes with pumpkin spice topping and whipped cream. If you want to fool around with that, you could add extra mocha drizzle, or perhaps some cinnamon almond milk foam? Go wild. Decadence, after all, is what a WAP is all about. The whole, customized (grande-sized) package will cost you around 380 calories, and $7.00.
