The One Food Guy Fieri Can't Live Without

Guy Fieri, the star behind the show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, has been one of the big names in the culinary scene for a while. He's known for his unconventional, spiky hair and his ability to come up with some incredible dishes. According to Insider, even though the star is known for often working with meat, he's actually big on vegetables. "I love fresh vegetables. I'm a huge vegetable junkie. That's one of the things people don't even know about me. I'll make six different types of vegetables for dinner," he once revealed.

Another interesting tidbit about the chef is that he's resilient — he'll experiment with food. Like sushi, for instance. In fact, he first started eating sushi when he was just a kid, and it was his father who encouraged him to experiment.

With all that in mind, what's the one food item that Fieri absolutely loves and cannot give up? You'd be surprised to know the far-from-conventional answer.

Soy sauce makes this chef happy

As reported by The Kitchn, Fieri does love eating food from across the globe, and is a bag fan of Asian cuisine including Indian food and sushi. "That's my jam. Anywhere. Anytime," he explained. Related to that is an ingredient he simply would never want to give up: soy sauce, thanks to the fact that it delivers so well in terms of flavor. The second option is a little more unconventional. He said he'd like Brussels sprouts to be included. Wait, what?

Basically, in his home, it's important to encourage healthy eating habits and embracing everything in moderation, including wholesome food items like Brussels sprouts. "I'm not saying that I'm a vegetarian, but people would be surprised at the amount of plant-based foods that I eat," Fieri admitted.

There you have it, folks. Soy sauce and Brussels sprouts score highly on Fieri's list and are food staples for the chef. What are yours?
